Portugal - Fatima to Lisbon

The best way to see the walled town of Obidos is to walk along the ramparts that circle the town. It is about 2km long and has been restored where required in order to make your passage safe. It rises about 5m above the houses and streets below. The castle’s keep and town walls were strengthened around the 14th century and are mostly intact today.
